Jesus wasn't selfish

I'm only 26, but already I'm not looking forward to the day in Heaven when I will see all my sins that I've ever done. But that is not gonna stop me from seeking God more and more. Not gonna stop me from trying to be more like God. And I don't plan to commit suicide either.

everyone including myself probably looks more forward to Heaven then looking forward to seeing God. Heaven hasn't really done much for us, we need to look forward to seeing God because He has done so much for us/everything!

life isn't even supposed to be about having fun

we're not supposed to try and have as much fun as we can

thats why its so difficult for us to be humble
and humble ourselves and such

we are supposed to serve others
serve the widows and the homeless

and help them

gotta get it right

we have so many things wrong today it seems

-the bible tells us to pray often and read the bible often
-communication is one of the major keys to a good relationship.. hence a good relationship with God

also, society and just about everybody thinks we are to work towards things. that the main goal in life is to get things and to make money to have things.

to work towards getting a nice house and a nice car. this is not really true. those are nothing. merely dust in the end. our relationship with God is what stands forever. for eternity. nothing else matters.

another thing that matters to is what we do on earth. do we go through our life being selfish and getting a nice car and house.. or do we go through life helping those that need help. the homeless, widows and children.

i am not saying i am in this place where i should be but i do want to get there. i want to stop being lazy and help people. and also.. remember.. yes there are lots of homeless people overseas but there are alot here in the USA as well.

some people are striving to be comfortable and relaxed. this is not what we should stive to do.
