Jason Upton weekend

the following is either what Jason Upton said or revelation I got at the conference on Friday 4-13-07:

-stop holding hands with the darkness
-what is the first word we normally say when we are born
--it dad or daddy (What a coincidence that God is our daddy)
-In your presence is where I belong
--forgive us Lord
----------
-maybe we should take off our shoes more often
--in church every sunday
----------
-many will fall away, are you like any other Christian
--or are you a strong Christian, is your faith strong, etc?
-take a look at what you are rooted in - truly rooted in
--are you still rooted in pride, money, etc?
-are you FIRMLY rooted in God, in Christ?

is your happiness in God? or is it in hanging out with people, with friends? or is it in being free from hardships?

Lord, bring true freedom
-freedom is not just another word
-we don't just say freedom
-we don't just cry freedom
the word freedom, the meaning has a substance, has power
and even more power in God!!

can we question God?
no
we can only question ourselves
we can only question experts, theologians

thank you all for being my friends
sometimes I've been such a wreck inside

God can take away friendships in an instant

thank You Lord, thank You Lord, thank You Lord, thank You Lord for saving us!!!

thank You Lord for allowing us into Heaven, for allowing us to see You

glorify the Lord for this revelation and ONLY the Lord!

thank You Lord for these gifts of revelation

thank You Lord for knowing You
for revelation of how real You are!

the church jumped off the "truck" of suffering

no fear of man

I am not doing good, be real
I'm only good because I enjoy hanging out with friends

Heaven is righteousness, peace and joy.

I owe nothing to myself
I owe ALL to God

God is much, much, much, much, much, much, much bigger than Satan!!
Satan is smaller and less powerful than we think he is

the devil is not everywhere
the devil is not all knowing
the devil doesn't know your name or the hairs on your head

the devil has NO power over your life

it was your fault for sinning
not the devils
God says "I saw you, it was you Jason, you were sinning, i saw you!"
God doesn't waist His time with competing with the devil

have faith that God is more real than the devil!

only God CONTROLS our existence!

we are NOT God's slave

stop trying to prove yourself

Learn how to be!
promise and destiny not as important

we're never satisfied
be still and know that I am God... then

-the religious think they actually help God

the real people just WANT to help God
but know we don't actually help God
we make things slower for God (like a child wanting to help)

once we lay down our life, the whole human thing is like a big joke
----------
its funny that we write songs
its not like any of us are Mozzart
its ok to not be right

you know my Word, but do you test it?
do you use it?
do you put it into practice?
